It’s been a long time coming, eight years actually, for a new album from Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals but finally the time has come. Next April 8, Harper and the Criminals will release Call It What It Is on Stax Records, a follow up to 2007’s Lifeline.

The news comes on the back of a North American tour announcement which will kick off at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on the day of the album release and will include stops in Washigton D.C., New York City, Boston, Montreal, Toronto and Chicago.
