The Bicycle Thief will reissue their 1999 studio album You Come And Go Like A Pop Song on vinyl for the first time ever this fall.
The band which formed in 1999 by Bob Forrest and former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer will reissue the album for its 21st anniversary via Immediate Family Records on September 21st. As per this week’s announcement, the limited edition reissue (500 copies total) will feature remastered takes on the original recordings on a color-in-color LP, along with a bonus 7” yellow LP containing a pair of songs from the 2001 Artemis Records reissue, “Song For A Kevin Spacey Movie” and “Trust Fund Girl”. The album will also come with a download card which provides access to 24 unreleased rarities.
Each individually numbered vinyl will include a gatefold cover, a two-sided poster, and liner notes provided by each member of the band.
Scroll down to watch Bob Forrest and Josh Klinghoffer talk with Immediate Family Records’ Chris Pizzolo about the 1999 album in an unboxing video for the reissue shared on Tuesday.

Earlier this year, just seven months after being fired by the Chili Peppers to make room for John Frusciante‘s return, Klinghoffer’s solo project Pluralone released a new single entitled, “Nowhere I Am”, which features his former bandmate Flea and original RHCP drummer Jack Irons.
