According to Big Gigantic, Free Your Mind “is about exploring all of the different things that make us human—the things that connect us to ourselves and to each other—so that we can get to know our true selves and live our greatest lives without anything holding us back.” Their latest single, “Burning Love”, features Kidepo and joins “Where I Wanna Be”, “Friends”, and “You’re The One” on the list of pre-release singles from the forthcoming album.
The 13-track Free Your Mind explores many different themes including self-love, friendship and intimacy, and gratitude for the present moment. The dance music behemoths infuse a variety of genres into their sound. Funk, house, and bassline are prominent, as is live saxophone.

Big Gigantic – “Burning Love”
On the heels of their album announcement, Big Gigantic shared details about five Rowdytown 3D shows this year.
The first will take place at Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, CA on May 1st before a show at The Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA the very next night, May 2nd. They will then take Rowdytown to The Brooklyn Mirage in Brooklyn, NY on May 23rd. Four months later, Rowdytown 3D will make its way to Morrison, CO for two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 25th-26th.
The 3D shows treat fans to an immersive audio-visual experience. In an interview with Jennifer Hartswick last year, the past Rowdytown collaborator and esteemed vocalist/trumpeter offered a clear-cut endorsement of the spectacle: “The stuff that happens visually at that thing…I don’t know if you’ve experienced the 3D thing. Go experience the 3D thing. It will blow your mind.”
