Big Something pays tribute to the visionary genius of David Bowie on the band’s latest single, “Moonage Daydream”. The reinterpreted Ziggy Stardust classic will be featured on the band’s forthcoming seventh studio album, which is due for release in 2023.
Recorded at Pachyderm Recording Studios and produced by John Custer in collaboration with the band, Big Something’s cover of “Moonage Daydream” was inspired by Bowie’s effortless originality, frontman Nick MacDaniels explained.

“This song and David Bowie’s creativity in general have always resonated in a big way for us. He wasn’t imitating anyone,” MacDaniels said. “He was a visionary that created his own completely unique and timeless sound with a catalog of songs about outer space, extraterrestrials, and all sorts of other interesting characters. His perspective as an artist has been a huge inspiration in terms of creating a sound and catalog of songs that are unique to us.”
