Big Something has announced the band’s festival, The Big What?, will return for its ten-year anniversary, but not until 2024.
The band indicated in an announcement posted to social media that the festival would take 2023 off, but organizers assured fans disappointed by the news that it’s only because they want to take more time to ensure the event’s tenth anniversary celebration is as spectacular as possible.
“The next installment of our festival ~ The Big What? ~ will be the 10 year anniversary of the event 👽🙏❤️” Big Something wrote. “We are incredibly excited to celebrate this occasion with you and we are so thankful for the community that has grown around the festival over the years ever since it all began in the woods of Possum Holler in 2012.
“In the spirit of making the 10 year anniversary as special as we know it can be, we have decided to give ourselves more time to plan the event and will announce new dates to take place in 2024. Stay tuned for more details coming very soon, plus keep an eye out for some new Big Something plans this Summer in North Carolina 😎 Thanks so much for your support #WhatFam we love you and can’t wait to see you soon!”
Big Something will link up with Doom Flamingo this weekend for a run of shows at Union Stage in Washington, D.C., Brooklyn Bowl in New York, and Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia. For tickets and a full list of Big Something’s upcoming tour dates, visit the band’s website.
