It’s been a busy year for Bill Kreutzmann, as the drummer of the Grateful Dead prepares the band’s 50th Anniversary Fare Thee Well shows at Soldier Field July 4th weekend. The drummer has picked up the sticks on more of a regular basis with his Billy & The Kids project, playing a couple of shows with The Disco Biscuits alongside Dead bandmate Mickey Hart, as well as his upcoming gigs in California and at Jazz Fest in New Orleans.

Kreutzmann is also getting ready for the release of his memoir Deal: My Three Decades of Drumming, Dreams and Drugs with The Grateful Dead (St. Martin’s Press; on-sale May 5, 2015; $27.99). In support of the book, he has confirmed a number of book tour dates. In addition to book signing, several of the dates will feature “Conversations with….” sessions, that will see Kreutzmann recount many of his exploits in a freewheeling conversation with co-writer and manager Benjy Eisen.

The tour will begin on 4/18 in Denver, CO at the Cannabis Cup. Check below for a full listing of dates, as well as Bill Kreutzmann’s Facebook page.
