Bill Nye, The Science Guy is getting into the dance music game. At a recent talk at the Fast Company Innovation Festival, Nye appeared with the DJ Steve Aoki to discuss various pressing scientific topics. The two also mentioned that they’re writing a song together called “Noble Gas,” that will be set to the theme of Twilight Zone.

Aoki tends to write songs with science themes, including his recent album Neon Future Odyssey. After discussing everything from science education to the singularity, Nye discussed his collaboration with Aoki at the festival.

“A strange and astonishing but provable fact is that you and I are made of the stuff of the cosmos,” Nye says. “We are made of exploded stars and other rogue drifting-around material. Carbon, oxygen, iron—what’s more fun than that? The ‘Noble Gas’ song would start with exploding super novae, then lead to us. And that means that the fact that you and I are made of stardust is one of the ways that the universe knows itself.”

We’ll be sure to share this collaboration once it’s released.
