After a six year hiatus, Billy Joel will return to Madison Square Garden for his first full concert since he broke the stadium’s record for “longest run by a single artist” with 12 consecutive sold out shows in 2006.
Joel recently played the stadium for the 12-12-12 benefit for Hurricane Sandy relief, receiving rave reviews for his brief performance. He then performed a series of festival gigs in Australia, a mini tour throughout Europe, and a surprise show at The Paramount Theater in Huntington, and announced a New Years Eve show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Tickets for the event, which will surely sell out, will go on sale Saturday, November 23, at 10am. More information is available at MSG’s official website.
