[Originally published 1/13/26; Updated 1/27/26, 1/30/26]: Two weeks after “leaking” his own 2026 summer tour dates, Billy Strings has announced the full details of the outing [ticketing details].
As indicated in his preview post on January 13th, the 2026 Billy Strings summer tour will begin at Roanoke, VA’s Berglund Coliseum on July 14th. From there, Billy and his namesake band will head to Portsmouth, VA’s Portsmouth Pavilion for a two-night stint on July 17th and 18th. On July 21st, the group will ship up to Boston, MA for a performance at Agganis Arena, followed by a two-show run at Portland, ME’s Cross Insurance Arena on July 24th and 25th, a stop at Hartford, CT’s PeoplesBank Arena on July 28th, and a weekend run at Bethel, NY’s Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on July 31st and August 1st.
Later in the summer, the tour will come to a close with two nights at Ionia County Fairgrounds in Billy’s native Ionia, Michigan on August 28th and 29th. Note: Tickets for the Ionia shows do not go on sale until February 13th.

“, Billy Strings teased his upcoming 2026 summer tour dates. Among the most eye-catching revelations is a two-day camping event in Bethel, NY, site of the 1969 Woodstock festival.
Although Tuesday’s post didn’t include on-sale times or the typical tour announcement trappings, it was much more direct than Strings’ word search or crossword puzzle tour previews. Alongside his previously announced winter and spring tour dates, Strings listed an eight-city, 11-show summer run. Set to kick off July 14th in Roanoke, VA, the tour will visit Portsmouth, VA (7/17–7/18), Boston, MA (7/21), Portland, ME (7/24–7/25), and Hartford, CT (7/28).
On July 31st and August 1st, Strings is planning a visit to Bethel, NY penciled in, with the added notation of “Camping” and a check mark. Following Bethel, there is a trip to Billy’s home town of Ionia, MI, on August 28th and 29th, though these dates are annotated with question marks. Finally, the last date Billy has listed is for simply “Kentucky” on September 11th. The new summer dates also hint at another taping for Austin City Limits, following his 2021 debut on the program. As the current presidential administration slashes funding for public media, forcing the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to close earlier this month, Strings noted on his tour schedule, “support PBS.”
These new 2026 summer dates supplement Billy Strings’ winter tour, set to begin next month with a sold-out two-night run in Athens, GA (2/6–2/7). More sold-out shows will follow in Asheville, NC (2/10–2/11, 2/13–2/14) and Nashville (2/20–2/22). Billy hinted at the usual guest-filled nature of his adopted hometown shows in Nashville, writing “plan something to get freaky → invite some friends?”
Then, in spring, Strings and his band will visit Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Indiana through April. In this latest illustration, Strings also hinted at recording an album following the spring dates: “get with the boys and nail it down.”
