Fresh off his Deja Vu Experiment virtual residency, which wrapped on Wednesday following six shows at The Capitol Theatre, Billy Strings has now announced his next round of fan-less concerts set to take place in New Orleans and Austin in March.
Strings and his band will host live virtual webcasts from Tipitina’s in New Orleans on March 24th–25th and from Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, TX the following evening on March 26th. The ticketed streams for all three shows will air in HD via Nugs.net starting at 10 p.m. ET each night. Money raised will benefit Tipitina’s “Save Tip’s” fundraising initiative and the Austin-based SIMS Foundation, which provides mental health and substance use recovery services and supports musicians, music industry professionals, and their families.
Strings is also scheduled to play a run of shows with a socially distant audience seating format at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre in Saint Augustine, FL on March 19th–21st.
Tickets for the newly-announced webcasts are now on sale here.
