Billy Strings will break new ground in July 2025 when he travels to the Down Under for his first-ever tour dates in Australia and New Zealand. The bluegrass guitarist will head to Australia’s major cities for a four-date Winter Tour on the other side of the globe.
After Strings wraps his domestic spring tour with a two-night run in Lexington, KY (6/20–6/21), he will make his way to the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne on July 15th. The 7,500-capacity tennis arena is indicative of the venue sizes Strings will play on his international sojourn, coming in contrast to the 20,000-capacity Ball Arena he played in Denver over the weekend.
Following a night in Melbourne, Strings and his bandmates Billy Failing (banjo), Jarrod Walker (mandolin), Royal Masat (bass), and Alex Hargreaves (fiddle) will head to the 9,000-capacity ICC Sydney Theatre in Sydney. Finally, the band will conclude their Australian excursion at the 9,500-capacity Riverstage in Brisbane on July 19th before traveling to the 12,000-capacity Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand on July 22nd.
A pre-sale for tickets to Billy Strings’ inaugural tour of Australia and New Zealand will begin on Friday, January 31st at 12 p.m. local time, followed by the general on-sale on Monday, February 3rd at 12 p.m. local time. Visit Frontier Touring for full ticketing details.
This will mark Billy Strings’ first global trek since taking portions of his fall and summer 2023 tours abroad for stops in the U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, and more. Before that, Billy made his debut on global stages in late 2022 with a small tour of even smaller clubs and theaters which paled in comparison to the rapidly growing venues he was playing stateside.
