Those who can’t make it to the Bonnaroo Farm in Manchester, TN for the Billy Strings pod show on Friday won’t have to miss any of the action with the announcement of a concert livestream. The show, taking place at Great Stage Park, will also feature special guest fiddle player John Mailander.

The Bruce Hornsby fiddle player is a familiar face to Strings fans, as he has performed with the ensemble on numerous occasions including New Year’s Eve 2019 and the group’s crowdless show at Ryman Auditorium in October 2020. Whether or not his face is familiar, Strings’ fans can hear his contributions to the bluegrass phenom’s Grammy-winning 2019 album, Home. Mailander also heads his own outfit, John Mailander’s Forecast, which released its third album, Look Closer, earlier this month.

Billy Strings’ concert down on the Bonnaroo Farm with special guest John Mailander will air via a Veeps livestream on Friday at 9 p.m. ET. Click here for tickets and more details. A fan replay will not be available for this broadcast.

The Bonnaroo concert comes as the final appearance in Strings’ spring tour. Following the show, he, Jarrod Walker, Royal Massat, and Billy Failing will take a well-deserved rest before picking back up at Wintrust Field in Schaumburg, IL to kick off summer tour with a two-night run.
