Ahead of his three-night run at Denver, CO’s Ball Arena this weekend, Billy Strings on Thursday stopped by the nearby Grizzly Rose to sit in with rising country and bluegrass artist Zach Top.
Billy Strings and Zach Top have a well-established history as collaborators. They first crossed paths in the summer of 2024 at the Under The Big Sky Festival in Montana, where Strings invited Top to sit in on traditional bluegrass tune “Freeborn Man”. The chemistry they felt playing live later translated into the studio when Zach recruited Billy to perform on his three-song Apple Music Nashville Sessions EP, released in November as an Apple Music exclusive.

After opening his winter tour with a three-night arena run in Denver (1/24, 1/25, 1/26), Billy Strings will continue on to Asheville, NC’s ExploreAsheville.com Arena for a two-weekend, six-show engagement (2/6–2/8, 2/14–2/16) and Atlanta, GA’s State Farm Arena (2/21–2/22). He will also play a three-night, hometown run in Nashville, TN at Bridgestone Arena (2/28–3/1) and Ryman Auditorium (3/2).

A portion of proceeds from every poster sold on the winter 2025 Billy Strings tour will benefit music industry and food & beverage industry workers affected by the wildfires in the greater Los Angeles Area via MusiCares and the Southern Smoke Foundation.
