This Satuday, MATTE Projects is presenting a multi-level, multi-sensory experience, in the one day BLACK Music and Arts Project. The Brooklyn Hanger will be transformed into two distinct floors, a raw space dance floor on top, featuring a custom stage and light set up for the musicians, as well as a 15,000 square foot white walled basement, which will be divided into six distinct rooms, each with its own, unique visual artist.

The main room has an eclectic music line up, featuring a DJ set from French producer Gessafelstein of Bromance Records, a live set from Jon Hopkins, as well as M.I.A collaborator GENER8TION and Kanye West’s creative director, FLAT WHITE. The basement will feature distinct rooms, with visual arts and interactive vignettes from artists Cara Stricker, Jesper Just, Toki Series, Virgil Abloh, and Zach Walker, along with DJ sets from Tummetott and Masha.

This event promises to be a unique experience, tickets are available here.
