Black Sabbath have cancelled their farewell concert, a headlining set at Ozzfest Japan on November 22. The heavy metal band, consisting of Ozzy Osborne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, made the announcement on their Facebook page last night. They will be replaced by an Ozzy Osborne solo set.

The band reunited in 2012 and had plans for a world tour, shortly before Iommi was diagnosed with cancer. After cancelling a number of initial tour dates the band finally got back on the road for one final hurrah.

Black Sabbath is currently working on an album with Rick Rubin.
