Blackberry Smoke will travel to Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, NY on June 27th. Unlike the rest of the tour, this show features special support from Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown and Nick Perri & The Underground Thieves.
Blackberry Smoke undoubtedly embodies the natural, roots rock sound of Georgia’s musical legacy. In line with their 20th anniversary as a band, the collective has planned a massive, international tour starting June 2021 and lasting March 2022, in addition to the highly anticipated Spirit of the South tour with The Allman Betts Band, Allman Brothers Band drummer Jaimoe, and The Wild Feathers. They have also dropped a new album, You Hear Georgia, which Saving Country Music named one of “The Best County & Roots Albums of 2021 So Far”.
Tyler Bryant is known for his blues guitar chops, landing a slot at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival by the age of 15. After gathering the powerhouse crew that is The Shakedown, the ensemble gained enough buzz to open for the likes of Aerosmith, B.B. King, and Clapton himself.
Nick Perri & The Underground Thieves’ debut single, 2020’s “I Want You”, hit #45 on U.S. rock radio charts and eventually caught the attention of Blackberry Smoke’s Charlie Starr. Philly’s hottest new soulful rock band is also wrapping up a co-headlining a tour with Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, and will headline a weekly residency at Ardmore Music Hall for the month of July.
