Blues Traveler joined forces with Gin Blossoms for a special appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, performing a medley of “Run-Around” and “Hey Jealousy” to preview their upcoming co-headlining summer tour with special guests Spin Doctors. The band then returned to Port Chester, NY to give back to the community with a special benefit concert for 914Cares at the Capitol Theatre.

Blues Traveler & Gin Blossoms – “Run Around”/”Hey Jealousy” (Medley)

914Cares is a nonprofit organization working to combat poverty in Westchester County, NY by providing access to basic essentials and support. Through community collaboration, education, and youth engagement, the organization works with partner organizations to distribute items like clothing, diapers, and hygiene products to thousands of families each year.

Following an opening set from Common People at The Cap, Blues Traveler delivered a high-energy set packed with fan favorites, deep cuts, and electrifying covers. The band opened with “Run-Around” and kept the momentum going with staples “But Anyway”, “Love and Greed”, and “Carolina Blues”.

The set featured standout covers including Son Seals’ “Funky Bitch”, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”, and Van Halen’s “Hot for Teacher”, and midway through the show, the band paused the action to celebrate guitarist Chan Kinchla’s birthday, complete with birthday candles and a sing-along of “Happy Birthday” from both the band and the crowd.

Blues Traveler also welcomed Braiden Sunshine for a soulful version of “The Mountains Win Again” and closed the night with an encore of Tom Petty’s “Mary Jane’s Last Dance”. Scroll down to view the full setlist.
