Before heading out with Willie Nelson and Billy Strings on the Outlaw Music Festival tour, Bob Dylan will hit the road for a newly announced stretch of headlining dates in spring 2025 [get tickets].
Set to kick off on March 25th in Tulsa, OK and run through April 22nd in Williamsport, PA, the tour will focus on smaller Midwestern towns rather than major markets. Dylan and his band will make stops in Sioux City, IA (4/2), Eau Claire, WI (4/5), Peoria, IL (4/9), and Youngstown, OH (4/19), as well as some larger cities like Little Rock, AR (3/26), Wichita, KS (3/29), and Omaha, NE (4/1). Of note, the tour opener at the Tulsa Theater will bring Dylan a quarter of a mile from the Bob Dylan Center, which opened in Tulsa a month after Bob’s previous visit in April 2022. After wrapping his headlining tour in Pennsylvania, Dylan will join up with Willie’s traveling Outlaw Music Festival and play every stop on the tour from May through September.
Tickets for all the newly announced Bob Dylan tour dates are on sale now via Ticketmaster. See below for a detailed list of tour dates. The new concerts are an extension of Bob’s Rough And Rowdy Ways World Wide Tour, which began in 2021 and was advertised as ending in 2024 but appears to still be going strong. The tour largely focuses on Dylan’s 2020 album of the same name—his most recent studio effort—with a few curveball reinterpretations of classic Dylan songs or even some Grateful Dead covers sprinkled in. Revisit Live For Live Music‘s review of his show from last year here.
Last year was a big one for Bob Dylan as he was (once again) immortalized on the silver screen, this time by Timothée Chalamet in A Complete Unknown which chronicles Bob’s early days in New York City through his groundbreaking performance at Newport Folk Festival in 1965. It is unclear whether Dylan saw the movie, though he did annotate director James Mangold and writer Jay Cocks‘ screenplay. He also joined TikTok and started writing his own posts on X (formerly known as Twitter).
