Dylan has pulled a few onstage surprises in recent years, including dramatically shaking up his setlist on Willie Nelson‘s traveling Outlaw Music Festival tour the past couple summers. This past year, he revived long-shelved classics “Mr. Tambourine Man“, “Masters of War”, and “Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues”, and before that added covers by the Grateful DeadChuck Berry, and Bobby “Blue” Bland. While the setlists for his headlining tour have stayed consistently rooted in Rough and Rowdy Ways, Dylan still surprised fans by adding a new drummer, Anton Fig, to his band, a decision revealed as they took the stage at the 2025 tour opener.
