While many artists are finally getting back on the road as pandemic restrictions loosen and vaccination rates rise, Bob Dylan has decided to break into the livestream game. The freshly-minted octogenarian Nobel Prize recipient will host his first-ever livestream, dubbed Shadow Kingdom, on July 18th at 5 p.m. ET.
Per a description for the stream, the concert will “showcase the artist in an intimate setting as he presents renditions of songs from his extensive body of work created especially for this event.” Dylan last performed on December 8th, 2019 at The Anthem in Washington, D.C., and released his latest album, Rough And Rowdy Ways, in June 2020 but had no opportunity to tour behind it.
