On Saturday night, Bob Weir and Wolf Bros returned to The Capitol Theatre for their second straight night at the storied Port Chester, NY rock palace. The trio—comprised of Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir along with bassist Don Was and drummer Jay Lane—once again threaded together a number of Dead classics, RatDog favorites, and staple live covers in addition to welcoming a familiar high-profile guest to help them close the show: decorated guitarist Warren Haynes.

Late in the second set, Bob Weir and company launched into “The Other One”. As Weir has been known to do with Dead & Company, he took the bus down a different path after the song’s first verse, diverting into Jerry Garcia/Robert Hunter ballad “Stella Blue”. As “Stella Blue” ended and the band rounded the corner back into “The Other One”, Weir instructed the crowd, “Everyone say ‘Hi,  Warren'” as Haynes took the stage.

After trading jazzy guitar runs with Haynes for several minutes, Bobby finished out second verse of “The Other One” before letting it bleed into “Not Fade Away”, capping the set with Warren adding texture on guitar and backing vocals. When the band returned for their encore, they once again brought Warren Haynes along for the ride as he and Weir traded verses on a rousing rendition of “Turn On Your Love Light” to send the crowd home happy.
