Last night, Bob Weir sat down with his sister-in-law, Leilani Munter, for a Periscope Q&A session. Munter is a known environmentalist, and while the majority of the conversation focused on that topic, there was, of course, some mention of Weir’s plans for his various Grateful Dead projects.

Weir was asked about the future of both RatDog and Dead & Company, and shared that “there will be plenty of both in the future.” He went on to discuss Dead & Company, saying, “we had enough fun on that last tour to see every clear indication that we ought to chase that muse.” While this remains unconfirmed, the band is a strong favorite to headline Bonnaroo 2016.

Weir also discussed changing the name of Dead & Company to DeadCo, saying, “I’m pushing to change the name to DeadCo because it’s a lot easier to say.” We’ll let the fans be the judge of that.
