A day after gathering a handful of their musical friends to help raise money for the disaster-stricken city of Nashville at The Ryman Auditorium on Saturday, Bob Weir and Wolf Bros were back in action on Sunday with the latest stop on the trio’s ongoing winter tour at the Louisville Palace in Louisville, KY.

For their latest show, the trio comprised of Bob Weir, Don Was, and Jay Lane treated their Louisville fans to more Bob Dylan covers (a theme they’ve explored a lot on this tour), a nod to the ladies in the audience for International Women’s Day, and more.

The show opened with the band’s covers of “Samson and Delilah”, and Dylan’s “Queen Jane Approximately” before moving to Weir’s solo catalog for “Gonesville”. More covers then followed with George Jones‘ “The Race Is On” and yet another Dylan tune in “Desolation Row”, followed by “Bird Song” and “Deal” to send fans into set break.

The band returned to open the second set with a take on King Radio‘s “Man Smart, Women Smarter” for a fitting International Women’s Day tribute. The music moved right into RatDog‘s “Ashes and Glass” and Roy Hamilton‘s “Don’t Let Go” before returning back to “Ashes and Glass” to close the segue. Following a “Playing in the Band”, the trio once again dove into Dylanland for a cover of “All Along the Watchtower” and into the Grateful Dead‘s “Black Peter”. The set wrapped with “Not Fade Away”, before the band returned for a one-song encore to transform the Louisville Palace into their own “Brokedown Palace”.
