Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has updated refunds from 75% to a full 100% after the 2025 event was canceled due to severe weather after just one day. In the same announcement posted to the long-running Manchester, TN festival’s social media on Friday, organizers noted that they were not yet setting the dates for the next Bonnaroo, something they typically do right after each year’s event, adding that, “When plans for the future take shape, you all will be the first to know.”
The new 100% refunds apply to anyone who purchased a one-day ticket for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; a one-day parking pass for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; a four-day festival ticket; or a four-day camping pass for Bonnaroo 2025. The festival—which Live Nation bought out from founders Superfly Entertainment following the sold-out 2019 edition—drew harsh criticism from attendees when it promised only 75% refunds for four-day ticket-holders after the event was canceled because persistent rain “[deteriorated] camping and egress conditions” after one full day of music.
“Our main goal is to give you the most memorable weekend of your lives every year,” organizers wrote in the latest update. “This cancellation broke our hearts beyond measure, but we knew it had to happen for your safety. Thank you for your patience and perseverance through this difficult situation.”

This marks Bonnaroo’s second weather-related cancellation in four years, after the festival’s planned comeback from COVID in 2021 was thwarted by Hurricane Ida. In Friday’s announcement, Bonnaroo staff noted that organizers were “still listening and actively discussing plans to improve The Farm that we love so much.” In the aftermath of yet another cancellation, many online have called for the festival to fortify its venue against seemingly inevitable inclement weather conditions, or to shift the event from its traditional early June dates to a time of the summer that is more meteorologically predictable (and maybe a little less hot).
On Monday, Bonnaroo’s social media posted a fan survey on future dates for the festival. Fill out the survey with your date preferences here.

Bonnaroo 2025 staged one full day of music on Thursday, June 12th. Within that short window of time, Luke Combs made history as Roo’s first-ever country headliner, Dogs In A Pile made their Bonnaroo debut, The Disco Biscuits donned their techno alter-egos Tractorbeam for a show on the new (and barely used) 360° Infinity Stage, and Insane Clown Posse delivered a highly anticipated, Faygo-soaked late-night set.
