Bonnaroo is set to return for another year on “The Farm” in Manchester, TN on June 13th-16th this summer. One of this year’s main performers featured on Bonnaroo’s 2019 artist lineup is none other than Phish, who will return to the festival to play three sets mixed in throughout the weekend.
Bonnaroo organizers always make a point to schedule a mix of unique dance parties and DJ sets throughout the weekend as fun alternatives for fans who may need a break from the crowded main stages and tents, as many of the non-performance events go well into the early hours of the morning. One of the notable non-performance events included on Bonnaroo’s event schedule for Thursday happens to also be Phish-themed, as a Kasvot Växt Dance Party is set to take place inside Snake & Jake’s Christmas Club Barn from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. on night one.

The event doesn’t go into detail, other than stating attendees are recommended to show up dressed in their finest whites in accordance with the band’s wardrobe theme from their Halloween gag in Las Vegas last fall. The band made headlines when they came out to perform new, original material themed around a fictional 1980’s Scandinavian progressive rock band they had made up for one of their sets on Halloween night.
Fans who are filled with all-night energy for the first day/night of Bonnaroo should definitely head over to the Christmas Barn for this party as a warmup for all the Phish music to be played at the festival in the days following. After all, what else is one supposed to do at that hour until the Sunrise Sets begin at the Kalliope stage starting at 3 a.m?
Fans can head to the Bonnaroo website for ticket and more event schedule information.
