Typically, Bonnaroo celebrates their lineup release with “B.L.A.M.,” the Bonnaroo Lineup Announcement Megathon. Last year, Taran Killem and Hannibal Buress hosted the BLAM event, which included performances from Ben Folds and The Flaming Lips.
This year, however, Bonnaroo is turning BLAM on its toes. Rather than announcing the lineup, Bonnaroo has released a phone number [1-844-ROO-2015], where fans can call in on January 13th, from 6-9 PM Eastern. Those who get through will receive the name of one performer, who they’re encouraged to share via social media (and the hashtag #Bonnaroo). The official Bonnaroo page will repost all relevant hashtags, thus creating a full lineup for the renowned festival.
