A few years ago, Brendan Bayliss of Umphrey’s McGee and Jeff Austin–at the time a member of Yonder Mountain String Band–formed a new musical project called 30db. The project was a great outlet for the two songwriters, even if it only lasted for a short period of time. After unofficially parting ways in 2012, the pair has previously performed under the 30db moniker in 2015 and 2016 for one-off shows in Chicago during December.

It was recently announced that 2017 will see the return of this collaboration with Bayliss and Austin. On December 20th, 30db will again return to Chicago for a special performance at Martyrs’. Tickets for the event go on-sale to the public on Friday, November 17th, at 10 a.m. (CST) via TicketFly.
