A new lane is opening for the Brooklyn Bowl venue empire with the announcement of a location in Washington, D.C. Set to opening in partnership Live Nation, Brooklyn Bowl DC will serve as a cornerstone of the new multi-purpose Parcel B space at Audi Field in the Buzzard Point neighborhood.

The latest expansion of the Brooklyn Bowl footprint will house up to 1,200 patrons in its 38,000-square-foot space, where Live Nation will program a broad array of concert programming. The venue will also feature 14 bowling lanes, a craft bar, and a menu curated by New York, NY’s Blue Ribbon Restaurant Group.

“We’re really thrilled to see Brooklyn Bowl be part of this great development in the District,” said Peter Shapiro, Brooklyn Bowl’s co-founder, in a press release. “After bringing Brooklyn Bowl to two new locations in 2021, we know that the time is right to bring this innovative concept to the D.C. area.”

Brooklyn Bowl DC is the first retail concept announced for the new mixed-use development Parcel B at Audi Field. Located across First Street SW from Audi Field, home of D.C. United soccer club, the new venue will connect the ground and second floor and also anchor the retail and entertainment corridor between Parcel B and Audi Field.

Once opened, Brooklyn Bowl DC will join sister locations in Williamsburg, NY; Las Vegas, NV; Nashville, TN; and Philadelphia, PA. The latter two venues opened last year in the wake of COVID’s live music shutdown.

Wednesday’s announcement did not include an opening date for the new venue. Stay tuned for further updates on the new Brooklyn Bowl DC.
