Last month, fans in the Brooklyn area got a taste of the Terrapin Crossroads scene for the two nights, as Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh brought the Terrapin Family Band out to the Brooklyn Bowl for a two night run on February 12th and 13th. The two shows featured Lesh’s usual suspects at Terrapin, including his son Grahame Lesh, as well as Alex Koford, Jason Crosby and Ross James.
For the two nights, the band kept mostly to the Grateful Dead catalog, with a few exceptions. They brought out a great version of Dire Strait‘s “Sultans of Swing” in the middle of a “Shakedown Street.” The Brooklyn Bowl has shared pro-shot footage of this second set opening jam, which you can view below:
