CaveFest has announced the artist lineup for its return to Pelham, TN’s The Caverns on October 11th, 12th, and 13th, 2024.

Presented by The Caverns, the third annual CaveFest will feature three days of music by a slew of notable acts from across the bluegrass spectrum including Railroad EarthThe Travelin’ McCourysYonder Mountain String Band, Béla Fleck & Abigail Washburn, The Keel ExperienceJim Lauderdale & The Game ChangersLindsay Lou, and The Grateful Ball featuring The Travelin’ McCourys and various special guests.

Other CaveFest 2024 performers include Big Richard, Lillie Mae, Arkansauce, John Mailander’s Forecast, Clay Street Unit, Pixie & The Partygrass Boys, The Sweet Lillies, La Terza Classe, Colby T. Helms & The Virginia Creepers, Slay, Uncle John’s Banjo, and Three Tall Pines.

The festival will also feature a trio of guest-filled late-night shows hosted by AirshowLarry Nager as the weekend’s emcee, and roving appearances by artists-in-residence Lindsay Lou and John Mailander. This will mark the third year for Lou, affectionately known as the “Queen of CaveFest,” as a CaveFest artist-in-residence while Mailander will take his first crack at the role in 2024.

The festival takes full advantage of what The Caverns has to offer both above and below the Earth’s surface. The Caverns Amphitheater, with its spacious area for chairs and dancing, will host the headlining performances against the backdrop of the majestic Cumberland Plateau. The Caverns’ famed underground concert hall will offer a second stage for additional performances, late-night shows, daily open jam sessions, a sound bath, and cave yoga. Attendees can also enjoy on-site camping, glamping packages, cave tours, food trucks, local craft vendors, surprise performances, and more.

“Now in our third year, CaveFest is a signature festival at The Caverns,” said The Caverns owner Todd Mayo in a statement. “The community of bands and fans, the idyllic setting—both above and below ground—and Tennessee’s beautiful autumn weather, it’s all a recipe for a magical weekend in Grundy County.”

All CaveFest tickets include camping. Kids 12 and under are free. Various VIP, glamping, and RV parking options are also available. One dollar from every CaveFest ticket will go to the Sewanee Mountain Grotto to support cave conservation efforts.
