Chicano Batman was the featured musical guest on Seattle’s KEXP radio last Thursday, where the soulful psych-rock outfit talked about their latest studio album (2020’s Invisible People) with DJ Morgan Chosnyk, and played some of the new material.
The band’s hour-long appearance on the virtual edition of Live on KEXP at Home included isolated performances of new originals “I know It”, “Polymetrophonic Harmony”, “Moment of Joy”, “The Way”, and “Color My Life”. The virtual appearance also saw the quartet discuss writing and recording the songs heard on Invisible People and working with Grammy-winning engineer/producer Shawn Everett on their latest album.
