On Tuesday, with a few days off before their next scheduled show, The Rolling Stones keyboardist and musical director Chuck Leavell made a stop at NYC’s Paste Studio where he offered up a three-song performance for his own Paste session.
Chuck opened up his session with The Rolling Stones’ “Tumbling Dice”, a tune off of the band’s beloved 1972 album Exile On Main St. He moved forward with a performance of “Living A Dream” by Sea Level, the jazz fusion band he became a founding member of following his tenure in the Allman Brothers Band. Leavell closed the performance with a take on Blind Willie McTell‘s “Statesboro Blues”, which became a regular in the Allman’s rotation through their finals days in 2014.
