The unlikely tale of Circles Around The Sun continues, as the group designed to create setbreak music for the Grateful Dead’s 50th anniversary concerts has sprung to life. The music was so well received that the band’s four members, Neal Casal, Adam MacDougall, Mark Levy and Dan Horne, knew they couldn’t put it down. Despite telling us that they had no future plans to play live last year, the band made their official debut at Lockn’ Festival, and brought that same live energy to The Hamilton in Washington, DC last night for their first-ever headlining performance.

Fortunately, videos from TimeZonerTV captured the band at work! Watch as their groovy instrumental tracks come to life in the live setting, below.

You can also catch a full audio recording below, thanks to Neil M.

The band also recently hinted at plans to record new music and tour in the future; we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for that!
