Circles Around The Sun have shared a colorful music video for “When I Was At Peace”, one of the four new original songs that appeared on their 2019 collaborative EP alongside drummer Joe Russo.

Released last week, the video for “When I Was At Peace” utilizes cosmic-inspired animation which gradually opens up to explosions of color and swirling psychedelic imagery to help bring the instrumental track to life. The animation produced by artist Thomas Lynch fits right in with the musical psychedelia for which Russo and Circles Around The Sun are known within the jam community.

Released back in October, the music heard on Circles Around The Sun Meets Joe Russo was born out of a completely improvised recording session that took place at The Bunker Studio in Brooklyn, NY.

Earlier this year prior to the COVID-19 industry shutdown, Circles Around The Sun embarked on a run of winter tour dates with Russo’s JRAD bandmate in guitarist Scott Metzger.
