On April 27th, The Concert For Peace & Justice will be held at Montgomery, Alabama’s Riverwalk Amphitheatre. The night will be hosted by the Equal Justice Initiative—an organization “committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society”—and serve as one of a handful of high-profile events that celebrate the grand openings of the National Memorial For Peace and Justice and The Legacy Museum in Montgomery. Thus far, the Equal Justice Initiative has tapped The Roots, Usher, Common, Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes), Gary Clark Jr., and Kirk Franklin for The Concert For Peace & Justice, with special guests also to be present for the evening.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 30th, at 10 a.m. here. For more information about the concert, memorial, museum, or Equal Justice Initiative, you can head here.
