Consider The Source is back with the third volume of the trio’s F**ck It! We’ll Do It Live series, this one featuring all-improvisational performances. The tracks were culled from an all-improv livestream that the band performed at Assorted Studios on June 26th.

In addition to the new live offering, Consider The Source is hitting the road for a four-night run of concerts beginning this week. The trip begins at Unknown Brewing in Charlotte, NC (10/22); then Charleston Pour House (10/23); 5 Points Music @ Wasena Park in Roanoke, VA (10/24); and finally One World Brewing West in Asheville, NC (10/25). All of the shows will adhere to all necessary health precautions, with the latter three all taking place outside.

The seven-track collection features four improvisational tracks, as well as three banter tracks from John Ferrara and Jeff Mann. These improvisational compositions showcase the versatility of the science-fiction, Middle-Eastern fusion group. Together, the music totals nearly 50-minutes of improv as the band feeds off one another, rather than the typical energy of an audience.

“No songs, no rehearsed parts, no preconceived riffs, no overdubs, just 3 friends celebrating being able to make music in the same room together,” the band said in a statement.
