Cripple Creek Music Festival has announced its return to the DCCH Fairgrounds in Fort Mitchell, KY on October 2nd. The 2021 lineup for Cripple Creek will be headed by Twiddle and The Lil Smokies, in addition to a host of other artists.
The third edition of the one-day festival located just across the Ohio River from downtown Cincinnati will also feature performances by the George Barrie Band, Garrett T. Capps, The Tender Things, Maria Carrelli, and Andy King & Dangertown. Cripple Creek will mark a homecoming for King as he makes his annual pilgrimage down from Alaska to perform with Dangertown in his hometown. Conversely, the festival will mark the first-ever appearances from Texas-based country outfits Garrett T. Capps and The Tender Things in the Cincinnati area. The music will kick off on October 2nd with a set from Northern Kentucky’s own Maria Carrelli.

This will mark the first edition of Cripple Creek Music Festival without its founder Tom Miller, who passed away earlier this year due to ALS. Tom’s charity, Winning With ALS, is the beneficiary of corporate sponsors of the event. Miller’s love of music is what birthed Cripple Creek after he was inspired to create the event after annual trips out to Oregon’s Pickathon.
