Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley has released the first single off his upcoming album, due out sometime this year through Republic Records. Details about the as of yet untitled new album, as well as plans for a tour will be announced in the coming weeks. The new tune, titled “Caution”, features an uptempo beat with a lush string part behind Marley’s signature patois-laden reggae/hip-hop vocals. You can check out the new song below:
In addition to his new album, Damian also has announced that his 3rd Annual Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise is now sold out. The cruise, set to sail on November 14, 2016 features performances from Damian, Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Toots and The Maytals, Steel Pulse, Sean Paul, Chronixx & Zincfence Redemption, Jah Cure, Tarrus Riley, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man and more.
