The media just can’t seem to get away from comparing Phish and Twiddle. This morning, popular sports talk radio program The Dan Patrick Show brought up the popular comparison in a unique segment, following up on a recent bit that aired a few weeks ago about the band Phish.

Patrick introduces Twiddle by saying he was told they sound like Phish, so he ultimately checks them out and says he likes them despite not liking jam bands in general. He astutely points out that the band has some Dave Matthews Band influences, and says “there’s some talent in there” while talking about them. The show hosts then play a clip of Twiddle’s song “When It Rains, It Poors,” while they discuss who Mihali Savoulidis sounds like. Ironically, “When It Rains, It Poors” is actually the song that the band played when they had Phish’s Page McConnell sit in with them last year.
