Last week, members of The Disco Biscuits, Lotus, The New Deal, Thievery Corporation, and The Motet joined forces with some of Denver’s favorite local players to once again blast off on the Dance Party Time Machine.

From Elvis to Holy Ghost and everything in between, this one of a kind collaboration dazzled the sold-out crowd with an eclectic mix of dance party favorites ranging from old school disco and funk, to 80s pop, 90s hip hop, and even current day hit makers like Anderson .Paak.

The night culminated with an unexpected cover of The Crystal Method‘s “Busy Child” that featured Marc Brownstein, Aron Magner, and Allen Aucoin of The Disco Biscuits, along with Mike Greenfield of Lotus, Jamie Shields of The New Deal, and Ryan Jalbert of The Motet, as well as Denver standouts Blake Mobley of Tiger Party and one of the show’s musical directors, Jonah Wisneski of Other Worlds.
