In honor of the anniversary of Grateful Dead guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Jerry Garcia today, Danny Mayer and Mary Corso of the Eric Krasno Band have shared a beautiful acoustic rendition of a beloved Garcia/Robert Hunter tune from 1974’s From The Mars Hotel, with Corso delivering beautiful, subtly raspy vocals and Mayer filling in the sonic space with principled rhythm guitar.

As Mayer says in the track description, “Here’s to you Jerry! In celebration of the life of Jerry Garcia, Mary Corso & I recorded an acoustic version of one of our favorite Grateful Dead (Garcia/Hunter) tunes with Reed Sutherland at Barnhouse Recording! We hope you dig our take on ‘Ship Of Fools!'”
