Danny Wimmer Presents has announced that Epicenter, Welcome To Rockville, and Sonic Temple have all been canceled due to the spread of the novel coronavirus and the disease that it causes, COVID-19.

In a social media post on Monday, DWM, which puts on all three festivals, announced that, in light of public health concerns, all three gatherings would be canceled for this coming summer.

Epicenter was slated for May 1st–3rd in Marston, NC; Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL (May 8th–10th); and Sonic Temple in Columbus, OH (May 15th–17th). A statement read that organizers had originally tried to reschedule the concerts following government restrictions on mass gatherings, but scheduling availabilities for the bands as well as the venues made that impossible.

In the end, DWM offered fans the option to choose one of three options: a full refund, receive a ticket for the same festival in 2021, or exchange the pass for a ticket to a different DWM festival in 2020. The production company also puts on Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY September 18th–20th and Aftershock in Sacramento, CA October 9th–11th. The latter festival also just so happens to share its dates with the newly-rescheduled Coachella festival in Indio, CA.

Danny Wimmer Presents told ticket holders to watch their emails for instructions on how to redeem tickets for the cancelled festivals. Read the full statement below.
