Yesterday, Dark Star Orchestra announced the first leg of their upcoming fall tour, which will see the Grateful Dead-inspired ensemble on the road for the end of September into mid-October. Following their summer tour, which wraps up on August 19th, the group will have a month off before their fall tour kicks off at The Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, Texas on September 21st. After three dates in Texas and one in Kansas, Dark Star will head north, eventually landing in Boulder, Colorado for a three-night run at the Boulder Theatre during the final weekend of September. After a hit in Omaha, Nebraska, the group will play three dates across Ohio falling on October 5th, 6th, and 7th before gearing up to close the tour with two dates in Michigan and a one-off performance at Chicago’s The Vic Theatre on October 13th. The next night, for their final show of their fifteen-date fall tour, Dark Star Orchestra will close things out in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
