Dark Star Orchestra will celebrate the Grateful Dead‘s legacy throughout the Eastern United States on a 2025 summer tour. The tribute act’s 20-plus date schedule will include recreations of iconic Grateful Dead shows, festival sets, a benefit with the Grateful Guitars Foundation, and more.
The Dark Star Orchestra 2025 summer tour will kick off on July 11th in Portland, ME with an outdoor show at Thompson’s Point. The band will hang around the Northeast to play Jeezum Crow Festival in Jay Peak, VT (7/12) as well as Schenectady, NY (7/13), Bethlehem, PA (7/15), 4848 Festival in Snowshoe, WV (7/17), Buffalo (7/18), Levitt Pavilion in Westport, CT (7/20), and Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, NJ (7/21). After a brief break, DSO will tour clear through mid-August with stops in Atlantic City (8/2), South Deerfield, MA (8/4–8/5), Cleveland (8/7), Fishers, IN (8/8) where the band will perform a historic Grateful Dead show from Deer Creek, Rochester (8/10), Bethel, NY (8/14), and more.
On August 15th, Dark Star Orchestra will play a benefit for the Grateful Guitars Foundation at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City. This event will offer an exclusive VIP pre-show reception featuring a meet-and-greet with the band, a display of rare gear including Jerry Garcia‘s “Alligator” Fender Stratocaster, a silent auction, exclusive VIP swag, and curated food and drinks. After the Grateful Guitars benefit, Dark Star Orchestra will wrap its 2025 summer tour in Columbia, MD at The Chrysalis at Merriweather Park (8/16) where the band will perform a historic Grateful Dead show from Merriweather Post Pavilion.
An artist pre-sale for the 2025 Dark Star Orchestra summer tour will begin Wednesday, April 23rd at 10 a.m. ET (use password EYES). Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 25th at 10 a.m. ET along with VIP tickets to the Grateful Guitars benefit.
