Dark Star Orchestra will take its dutiful recreations of the Grateful Dead experience to stages throughout the Western United States on the band’s 2026 winter tour [get tickets].
After ringing in the new year with a three-night stay at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY (12/31, 1/2, 1/3) and heading down to Jamaica for Jam In The Sand XIII (1/10–1/13), Dark Star Orchestra will stick to the warmer climates starting in Phoenix, AZ, at The Van Buren on January 29th. The band has a seven-show stretch planned for California Deadheads, stopping in L.A. (1/30), Del Mar (1/31), Ventura (2/2), San Luis Obispo (2/3), Monterey (2/5), and finally ending on the Dead’s home turf with two nights at the Fox Theater in Oakland (2/6–2/7).
After the California leg, DSO will head to the Mountain West, stopping in Boise, ID (2/9), ahead of a gig in Salt Lake City, UT (2/10). Finally, Dark Star Orchestra will round out its 2026 winter tour with a run of Colorado shows, including Beaver Creek (2/11), Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium (2/13), and finally ending at Washington’s in Fort Collins on Valentine’s Day (2/14).
A pre-sale for tickets to the 2026 Dark Star Orchestra winter tour begins today, October 22nd, at 10 a.m. local time, accessible with the password “DEAL”.
