Dark Star Orchestra is holding their seventh annual Dark Star Jubilee Festival this coming Memorial Day weekend, from May 25-27, at Legend Valley, in Thornville, Ohio. Back in 1993, the venue was known as Buckeye Lake Music Center, and on June 11, the Grateful Dead performed there. Nearly 25 years to the date, and at the same location, Dark Star Orchestra will recreate the original band’s set during one of the nights at The Jubilee.
In addition to three full, two-set Dark Star Orchestra shows, The Jubilee will see performances from Los Lobos, Hot Tuna (2 sets: acoustic & electric), The Infamous Stringdusters, Melvin Seals & DSO performing a JGB set, The Nth Power, California Kind, Rumpke Mountain Boys, Jeff Mattson & Friends, The Lil Smokies, Holly Bowling, Dino English Quintet, Mystic Bowie’s Talking Dreads, and Kitchen Dwellers. Check out the newly announced schedule below.
Advance GA & VIP tickets are available now via the event website. Discounted Tier 2 GA & VIP tickets are available until Midnight, Tuesday, May 1, after which tickets jump up to the next pricing level.
