Dave Matthews Band has announced a pair of 2020 headlining performances in Australia, marking their first hard ticket shows on the continent since 2014.

Dave Matthews and company will perform at Sydney’s First State Super Theatre on April 15th and Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on April 17th. DMB will make a previously announced festival appearance at the Byron Bay Bluesfest on April 13th.

Dave Matthews Band was recently announced as a 2020 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-nominee alongside The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, MotörheadNine Inch NailsThe Notorious B.I.G.Rufus feat. Chaka Khan, and many more.

“It’s a real honor,” Matthews told The Associated Press. “Even if they stick us in a holding pen for a few years, that’s OK. Just to get on that list. I can’t believe I’m on a list with Whitney Houston, Motorhead and T. Rex. That’s pretty awesome.”

An online pre-sale for the Sydney and Melbourne shows is available for DMB Warehouse members beginning on Tuesday, October 22nd at 2 p.m. local venue time. Tickets for both shows go on sale to the general public this Friday, October 25th at 1 p.m. local venue time here.
