While Dave Matthews Band performed a hometown 25th anniversary celebration last weekend, the band’s summer tour officially kicked off last night with a performance at the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, KS. The group has some major tour plans mapped out for 2016, but will also take a hiatus from touring thereafter.

With all eyes on the opener, DMB delivered a show for the ages. The band brought out some of their new songs, debuted at the anniversary performance, as well as a “Jimi Thing” that features a sample of Prince’s “Sexy MF.” One of the big highlights of the night came in the form of “Shotgun,” a song busted out for the first time since 7/23/13 (176 shows).
