Dave Matthews to Play Carnegie Hall w/ Hugh Masekela and Vusi Mahlasela

Dave Matthews will special guest at Carnegie Hall on October 10th and join fellow South Africans, musicians, and freedom fighters Hugh Masekela (trumpeter/vocalists/composer) and Vusi Mahlasela (vocalist/songwriter) at the Twenty Years of Freedom concert, which celebrates 20 years of democracy and the end of Apartheid in South Africa. Other special guests are scheduled to appear, but have not been announced at this time. Tickets for the performance can be purchased here.

While touring South Africa last year with Dave Matthews Band, both musicians came out for guest appearances with the band. Check out Masekela on “Proudest Monkey” below:
