A brand new music festival is coming to the Atlanta area. Created by Harry Belafonte’s non-profit organization Sankofa.org, the new music and arts festival will adopt a theme of human rights to create a meaningful dialogue. Dubbed Many Rivers To Cross, a number of talented performers will join forces from October 1-2 in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia.
The lineup announcement from Billboard showcases a number of top-tier artists for the two-day event, including Dave Matthews, Santana, Common, John Legend, Public Enemy and Estelle. There will also be sets from comedian Chris Rock, actor/activist Jesse Williams, actor Danny Glover, civil rights advocate/author Michelle Alexander and Dr. Cornel West. Between the great music and inspirational speakers, this festival is sure to be a great and thought-provoking experience.
